FINALS WEEK!!! The last week of school is very hectic, so I leave you with this. My last Illustration project of spring semester 2008! You read about the beginning of it in my last post.

Hello, bird.

Ornithology was the inspiration for this project. I researched birds, and thought of the Monk parrots that live in my hometown, that are actually native to South America. Do they belong here? This took me on a tangent, looking at birds and where they do and don't belong. Here are some artist trading cards I came up with during the project. TWEET.

July, ahhhh summer.....

Calendars!!! I was assigned the month of July and discovered that July is ice cream month. Who knew? So here is my ice cream inspired calender page.

Final Fork Forest!

Here is my final fork project, finally! It took me a really long time to get used to the pastels, and I still haven't quite got the hang of them, I suppose I'll have to practice more. The final forks apparently did take on a more "Wizard of Oz" theme, ENJOY!
