Forks Forever

Here is a sketch I came up with at the last minute for this project. The assignment started off as an article that talked all about the history of, and interesting facts about forks. This comic was sort of a take off on how the chinese chopsticks were used for a long time before forks were invented.

Our newest assignment is all about forks. Here is one of the ideas I'm trying to work out. It's sort of a fork in the road play on the Wizard of Oz, but it will probably evolve and change. I will post my final piece next Thursday, so continue biting your nails with excitement until then.

My Adorable Book Plate

We had to create a book plate for illustration class, so here it is!
Of course, this actually comes in handy after acquiring about a million books for required reading in college. And another plus to the assignment, is that I decided to use myself as a child in the plate. So bask in the glow of my magnificent bookplate and obsess over how cute I was when I was little.
